Will my insurance cover counseling?
Many insurance programs cover counseling services.
These services may be called mental health services or behavioral health services by some insurance companies.
Michelle is a participant and preferred provider in many insurance and EAP networks including Aetna, BCBS, Tricare, Humana, Companion, APS and others. Michelle will file the claims with your insurance provider and will advocate for you regarding attaining coverage.
Michelle is also a Medicare provider.
Will I have to file my own claims?
Michelle will be happy to file claims with most insurance programs.
If you prefer to file your own claims, Michelle will provide you with the necessary documentation to do so.
How do I schedule an appointment?

What happens at the first appointment?
Intake forms are completed and your insurance company is contacted if that has not already been done.
You will be asked for a copy of your insurance card to facilitate the filing of the claims, as well as a copy of your state approved or federal ID.
All of your information will be held in confidence except in instances where you have given authorization; for example, to file your insurance claim, or in circumstances dictated by law.
What happens if I need to reschedule or cancel my appointment?
is provided on this website and at the initial appointment. Simply call and inform Michelle of your need to reschedule.
24-hr notice is required to allow Michelle to most adequately manage the schedule to accomodate the needs of the clients.
What forms of payment are accepted?
Michelle accepts cash and checks, as well as Mastercard
credit, debit or Health Savings Account / Flexible Spending Account cards. Payments may be made in person or online
Michelle will discuss financial options with those who are uninsured and may be facing financial challenges.
There are always options to facilitate access to counseling no matter what the financial situation.
